“Interior de uma casa (2021) faz parte da série Rasura (2019–2021), por meio da qual Dias interroga estruturas sócio-históricas marcadas pela omissão e pelo silenciamento sistêmico. Ao pintar digitalmente, com cores saturadas sobre fotografias feitas no Rio de Janeiro —cidade onde vive atualmente — o artista evoca camadas de pertencimento e deslocamento. Esses gestos visuais refletem tanto sua migração pessoal de Belém para o Rio quanto processos macropolíticos mais amplos, como a formação de centros urbanos periféricos e os legadospersistentes da diáspora africana no Brasil.”

“Interior de uma casa (Interior of a house)(2021) is part of the Rasura (Erasure) series(2019–2021), through which Dias interrogates sociohistorical structures marked by omission and systemic silencing. By digitally painting insaturated colors over photographs taken in Riode Janeiro, the city where he currently lives,the artist evokes layered senses of belonging and displacement. These visual gestures reflect both his personal migration from Belém to Rioand broader macropolitical processes, such as the formation of peripheral urban centers and the enduring legacies of the African diaspora in Brazil.”
